When Robert misdials, Annie is ready to hang up on what she thinks is a nuisance caller interrupting her indulgent sobbing. This accidental telephone call is the start of a distant, yet significant telephonic relationship. Both Robert and Annie are plagued by love troubles and enjoy the opportunity to let off steam, take a few tips and perhaps begin again.
