Why did you decide you wanted to be a committee member?
Having been a member of WBDS for a while, I thought it would be good to help support it continue to grow.
What sparked your interest in joining WBDS?
Many years ago I was new to Nottingham and didn't know anyone, I turned up on a Tuesday night and everyone was lovely, I've stayed ever since.
What's your favourite WBDS production you've been involved with?
Oh, that'd be like having a favourite child. I've been involved with lots of plays and always enjoy working on them. I think as a society we should be really proud of the consistently strong productions we put on. Great range and variety and a good level of challenge both for cast, crew and audience.
What are you looking forward to most in the coming year?
I've been really enjoying the "Exploring" themes on a Tuesday, the discussions have been really interesting and it's ben a good opportunity to learn from others.
Who is your dramatic hero?
Goodness... Probably Samuel Beckett, I don't understand his work but it's endlessly fascinating.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
The one that would help me finish the never-ending panto!
